We have all heard the verses and concepts from Proverbs 31 a thousand times. While the word disrespect is not mentioned, the concept is in fact alluded to: She does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life. -Proverbs 31:12 In the literal sense, one could argue this means not being violent towards him.
